#MASTERYOURSTANCE
Your game,
at a glance. AI cricket video analysis from your phone: batting, ball speed and run-up.
Stance is a cricket video analysis web app for players and coaches. Film on your phone, upload in your browser, and get three separate analyses: batting body mechanics, ball speed with line and length, and run-up mechanics, plus elbow angle through release for bowlers.
Your game — never
analysed your way.
We cater to both players and coaches. For players: truly know your game — your strengths, your body movements, and the way you actually play. For coaches: become data-aware and reach many more players at once.
Our goal is simple — help a player know their game, and a coach know their data.

Three analyses. Kept
separate on purpose.

Batting
Body through the shot — base, trunk, rotation, head at contact, etc. The complete kinematic chain is measured.
Ball speed & delivery
Speed, line and length, and movement in flight — calibrated from the stumps, which are a regulated size. Complete 3D pitching and length analysis, curated for you.
Run-up
From run-up to follow-through — complete run-up mechanics are measured, including run-up momentum, joint placements, and more.
One clip / session
Your game, and your phone — yup, that's the setup.
Square-on
Across the camera plane is the axis depth can't ruin. Semi-side-on camera setup is preferred.
Three analyses
Batting, ball and run-up — measured independently, never mixed.
Calibrated
Stumps are a regulated size — the ruler in every frame.
Nothing extra
If it needed hardware, nobody would measure twice a week.
Numbers that hold value — not just AI-generated.
Sessions stack, so drift becomes visible on its own.
Master your
stance.
Upload a batting, bowling or run-up clip and get the measurements back — angles, sequencing and ball physics, in plain terms.
How we know the
numbers are real.
No competitor publishes a measurement limit. Here is ours, in full — because a claim about your technique you cannot interrogate is not a measurement.

One upload becomes four surfaces — the report you coach from, the numbers you compare, the card you share. On every screen you already own — and get more insights through our Stance bot.
3D Ball-Tracking ArenaOne standard,
the whole squad.
Session history that survives staff changes. Every player measured the same way, every session — so "better" finally means something you can point at.
COACH UPLOADS · SQUARE-ON
One standard,
the whole squad.
Every player measured the same way, every session.
A file that follows the player
Angles, sequencing and ball physics tracked over time for every athlete — not observations that leave with a coach.
Compare sessions, not memories
Sessions stack, so trends surface on their own — a length drifting, a chain sequencing later.
History that outlives staff
Session history lives in the file, not in one coach's memory — it survives coaching changes intact.
Film your next session.
One phone, a semi-side-on, squarish view, two deliveries minimum. That is the whole setup. How to film each clip
Pick your plan.
Both plans measure the same way — the difference is how many people you measure. Every session produces a STANCE Report you can hand to a coach, a shareable story card with a QR back to the numbers, and a Stance ID that carries your current form.

Frequently asked questions.
Film the delivery square to the pitch with the stumps in frame, then upload it. Stance detects the ball and the stumps in every frame, calibrates the pitch from the regulated stump size, and reconstructs the trajectory to return speed plus the line and length it pitched on. No speed gun, no radar, no extra hardware.
No. Stance is a web app: it runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install, and there is no iOS or Android app. You film with your phone's own camera and upload the clips. Access is by waitlist while Stance is in closed beta.
Accuracy depends almost entirely on where you put the camera, and most apps will not tell you that. A single camera measures movement across the camera plane best; movement toward or away from the lens is the axis it knows least — the image barely changes in that direction, so there is almost nothing to track. That is why a semi-side-on, squarish view, with the action moving across the frame rather than into it, is what makes the numbers reliable. Filming from behind the bowler points the lens down that weak axis and changes the numbers materially. We publish the method and its limits rather than quoting an accuracy figure we have not measured in your conditions. Our filming guide at stance.citrospace.in/film shows the set-up for each clip.
The ICC threshold is 15 degrees of elbow extension between the arm reaching the horizontal and the ball leaving the hand. Stance measures elbow angle through that window from ordinary footage, so you can see how your own action behaves across it. This is not an official ruling — only an ICC-accredited testing centre can assess an action — but it tells you whether getting tested is worth your time.
Through a batting shot: how the base is set, how the trunk rotates, where the head stays at contact, and whether the body segments fire in a sensible order or one joint is compensating for the rest. For a delivery: ball speed, the line and length it pitched on, and any seam or swing in flight. For a run-up: approach and delivery-stride mechanics. The three are measured separately because they answer different questions. You also get a full STANCE Report and a shareable flex QR story card — plus deeper insights on demand through the Stance bot.
No. Markerless analysis recovers body position from ordinary video, so there is no motion-capture suit, no markers taped to your joints, no wearable sensors and no lab booking. A phone, something to prop it on, and the stumps in frame is the entire setup.
At least two, and more is better. A session in Stance is two or more marked deliveries or shots analysed together, because one ball is an anecdote — on a single sample you cannot separate a real technique change from a lucky delivery. Sessions stack over time, so trends surface on their own.
Yes — Stance is both an analysis engine and a player-management system. A coach or academy creates an organisation and invites players, and every player's uploads and sessions roll up into one squad grid. From there coaches manage players — notes, session planning, per-player dashboards and improvement tracking — while each player still gets their own full analysis. Because every player is measured the same way, comparing them actually means something, and the session history outlives any change of staff.
